SCHOOLS in Westbury supported Children in Need recently by hosting several fundraising events. 7.30pm.
Westbury Leigh Primary School held a Heroes Day to raise money for Children In Need on Friday 14th November.
Children were encouraged to dress up as Heroes. It didn’t have to be a Hero from the TV, it could be any hero in their life. Some children chose their parents, whilst others chose doctors or book characters.
Children and staff donated £1 each and after school there was a Bake Sale in the School Hall to boost the school’s donations to Children In Need.
All of the children from Bratton School dressed up as Superheroes for Children in Need on Friday. They celebrated the day in fancy dress and sold cakes to raise money for the cause. The children and families have raised over £130!
Whilst the children of Bitham Brook Primary School organised and ran stalls on Friday and raised £262.88 for Children in Need.
