A CHILDREN’S street party to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will be held in Westbury High Street on Thursday 2nd June, from 2pm until 5pm, hosted by the Mayor of Westbury, cllr Sheila Kimmins.
240 children will have the opportunity to celebrate the longest serving monarch in British history at a 50s-style street party on the first day of the extended holiday. Organisers promise an afternoon of entertainment, music, games for children and an afternoon tea.
Tickets will be offered on a first-come first-served basis and will be advertised soon.
