The White Horse Ministry Team is inviting the community to join in Christingle services and a Christingle-making workshop in the lead-up to Christmas.
The Christingle services will be held on Advent Sunday, 1st December, at 9.30am at Holy Trinity Church in Dilton Marsh, and at 4pm at All Saints’ Church in Westbury.
“All are welcome to come and learn about the Christingle and the work of the Children’s Society,” said the organisers. “The service at All Saints’ Church will take place during the Christmas Tree Festival, so we’ll be seated among the beautifully decorated and lit Christmas trees.”
For those interested in creating their own Christingle, a workshop will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Dilton Marsh, on Saturday 30th November, from 2pm to 4pm.
“Come along to have fun making your Christingle and trying out other crafts too!” added the organisers.
