PEOPLE flocked from far and wide for this year’s Cliveyfest and organisers say it was a great success.
Now in its sixth year, the family music festival in Dilton Marsh has grown into a much-loved event for the local community and a successful fundraiser for local charities and groups.
There was live music, charity stalls, children’s games and activities, harmonica lessons, a gin bar, a bucking bronco and lots of hot food prepared and served by the Westbury Lions.
Annie Harris who first organised the event five years ago for her husband David’s 70th birthday, said everyone had a great time and already can’t wait until next year.
“The weekend was a great success, the atmosphere was lovely. We had people from as far as Bedfordshire and then lots of local people from Frome and Westbury and of course from the village.
“We were completely sold out which was fantastic and everyone said they had a great time.”
