WESTBURY library will be running events during 3rd-8th February to celebrate National Libraries Week.
Throughout the week there will be many activities available to a varied age range. Help the library create a ‘Love Your Library’ display, for children there is a ‘We Live in the Library…Who are we?” quiz, and for adults there is the opportunity to go on a ‘Blind Date with a Book’.
For the very young children there will be a ‘Love Your Teddy Bear themed Rhyme Time on Friday 7th at 11.00am, where children can bring their teddy and come dressed as a teddy!
Sabina Edwards, community librarian says, “Love your Library, Love your Town by getting to know it more – join us at 10.30am on Saturday 8th February for a town history talk from archivist, Steve Hobbs.
This is also a free event but spaces are limited so book your seat in advance from Westbury Library 01373 822294.
“Throughout the whole month of February, customers will also be encouraged to nominate a friend or family member to join the library, with both being entered into a prize draw to win book-related items.”
