THE Memorial Theatre has an exciting range of entertainment coming up this winter season.
Children’s Christmas Party in the Assembly Rooms. Sunday 18th December at 2.30pm. £8.50 per child – accompanying adult goes free.
The party will take place from 2.30pm until 5pm. There will be a cold buffet, party dancing with PDJ disco and partygoers will be able to visit Santa in his grotto. Every child will receive a present from Santa.
Frome Musical Theatre Company pantomime, Cinderella. Wednesday 28th December until Tuesday 3rd January. Tickets: Adults £15, concessions £13, family ticket £50, party booking £12 (bookings of ten or more people)
Lose yourself in this charming fairy tale with all the usual characters and a few extras for good measure. Packed with laugh out loud comedy and plenty of sparkle, this rags-to-riches tale will be a festive treat for all the family.
The show runs from 28th December – 3rd January. Evening shows 28th, 29th, 2nd and 3rd at 7pm, matinee shows 29th, 1st and 2nd at 2pm, morning at 11am on 31st (relaxed performance) and matinee at 4pm on 31st.
The 11am performance on Saturday 31st December will be a relaxed performance where house lights will remain on at a dimmed level and sound will be reduced. In addition, there will be a relaxed attitude to movement in and out of the auditorium to make the show as inclusive as possible.

The new year kicks off with Gareth Gates in The Best of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons on Saturday 28th January – a spectacular high-pitched celebration of timeless music from one of the biggest-selling groups of all time, featuring all your favourite songs including Sherry, My Eyes Adored You, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Walk Like a Man, and many more.
Gareth Gates joins cast members from the smash hit Tony Award-winning musical ‘Jersey
Boys’ and another hit West End shows, supported by an exceptional live band.
Into February, the ‘Tom Allen – Completely’ show on Wednesday 1st February is already sold out and this is followed by The Manfreds returning to The Memorial on Friday 24th
February as part of their 60th Anniversary celebrations. With original front man, Paul Jones, the band will be performing many of their hits, including ‘Do Wah Diddy Diddy’, one of the most popular and instantly recognisable songs of the ‘60s.
March then sees T.Rextasy – The Greatest Hits Tour on Saturday 4th March; the Royal Marine Band on Saturday 11th; an evening of fun and games with cricket broadcaster Henry Blofeld on Friday 17th; Totally Tina, the award-winning Tina Turner spectacular, on Saturday 25th and Down for the Count presents A Century of Swing on Friday 31st March.
