Community hall seeks new members

Do you have a few hours to spare? Do you want to contribute to the local community?

Westbury Leigh Community Hall is a registered charity and offers a facility for residents of Westbury Leigh and the surrounding area for parties, events and regular classes such as yoga, Pilates, bridge, sewing and art. 

The management committee is responsible for the smooth running of the hall, which involves maintenance, safety, bookings, publicity and financial management.

The committee is looking for new members, in particular, local residents who have a financial background or experience as treasurer for a small organisation. The treasurer role on the committee requires a time commitment of 5 – 6 hours a week but for general committee members it’s flexible: it depends on what you volunteer for!
