A new independent plumbers merchant has opened in Westbury – Tube and Valve Supply Limited – to provide everything you need at the price you’ll be happy to pay.
Tube And Valve Supply has opened its doors at Units 1-3 Cory Way on the West Wilts Industrial Estate boasting a large trade counter area and bathroom showroom for you to peruse before you buy. The company was formed at the end of last year and opened the doors for trading in January this year.
“We supply both to the domestic and commercial market whether it’s a fitting to mend a leak under the bath at home or a 6” flanged gate valve to local factories, hospitals and schools,” said branch manager, Vernon Giles.
“What sets us apart from the national merchants is that we are an independent merchant so we aren’t restricted to only selling what head office tell us to. If there is something that one of our customers need, we will source it from where ever is needed. We aim never to turn an order down; if we don’t stock it, we will find a way of getting it!
“We quite enjoy it when a customer comes in with a plumbing problem and we can assist them with exactly what is needed.
“Customer service is very important to us. We go that little bit further to help our customers. We make a point of sitting down with them, listening to exactly what they want, and offer our suggestions in order to make sure everyone is happy to go forward with the project. We look to build a relationship with our customers so they feel comfortable to return if they ever need our services again.
“We have had excellent feedback so far down to the fact that we work through the whole job with our customers; whether it is a set of taps or a whole new heating system, each customer receives the same level of service.
“We also have a good relationship with many of the local installers as we see the sale through from start to finish, right to the day it is delivered and installed. We don’t just serve our customers and then usher them out the door; we make the whole experience a pleasure.”
Tube and Valve Supply Limited has a current work force of four employees, Vernon, together with Tom, Lawrie and Keely.
The trade counter is open Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 5.00pm and Friday 7.30am – 3.30pm. Saturday is by appointment for those customers that are busy in the week. They offer a free local delivery service available all week.
