THE annual Flower and Handicraft Show in Dilton Marsh is just around the corner, but there’s still time to get ready to compete.
The Flower and Handicraft Show will be held at the Memorial Hall on Saturday 12 August.
If you are a resident of the village or member of a Dilton organisation including the school you are eligible to enter.
Schedules are available from Fairfield Farm College, Holy Trinity Church, Crowning Glory Hairdressers, Prince of Wales Hostelry, Gardening Club and WI.
There are classes for vegetables, fruit, flowers, floral art, cookery, handicrafts, photography, group display and a special class for children 12 years and under which is free to enter. Other entries are charged at 25p each.
Judging will take place in the morning and doors will open to welcome the public free of charge at 2pm.
Prize giving takes place at 3pm followed by a fun bargain auction of the produce and exhibits.
