AT the beginning of May, the group listened to Sarah Condry’s pilgrimage from Salisbury Cathedral to Canterbury Cathedral.
She and a friend undertook the pilgrimage in stages with a friend, accompany her Jack Russell dog Maisie on her “Maisie’s March” for Mother’s Union projects in the Salisbury Diocese.
The “Pilgrim’s Way” which has been trodden by many people over many years reminding them that Jesus walked everywhere meeting and talking to people as he went. They are overwhelmed with the interest taken and hospitality offered as they journey.
The pilgrimage continues and sponsorship and company on the various stages are still welcome.
May 19th sees our “Big Lunch” at Fairfield Farm College. This is a joint venture between Mother’s Union and the college as part of National Family Week.
