THE Weavers Pub in Dilton Marsh hosts a special weekly chat café where members of the public are being encouraged to pop in for a free hot drink and a chat with one another and students from Fairfield Farm College.
The chat café is open every Friday morning from 10am to 11.30am and it is open to anyone who wants to have a natter and a free drink. The initiative is part of a Fairfield Farm College programme that aims to combat loneliness and social isolation.
Organisers say, “Everyone is welcome to join us at The Weavers in Dilton Marsh for our weekly chat café. We’d love you to join us for a free hot drink and a chat, and there will always be someone ready to greet you with a warm welcome. We look forward to your company and hope that you enjoy ours!”
