A STONE plaque to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee has been placed next to the town’s Jubilee tree.
The stone was donated and installed by Nick Johnson of Westbury monumental masons Young Johnson.
The palm tree was planted in Soisy Gardens last year as part of the town’s celebrations to mark the 60 years of the Queen’s reign. The palm tree was chosen to recognise that the Jubilee was celebrated across the Commonwealth, as well as in the UK.
