A RECORD number of people are expected to visit the hugely popular Dilton Marsh Scarecrow Trail that is taking place this weekend from Saturday 13th May to Sunday 14th May from 9am to 6pm.
This year’s event, organised by Friends of Dilton School (FODS), is based on children’s book characters, and trail maps are just £3. Maps can be picked up this week from the Weavers Pub until Sunday 14th May, as well as from the Dilton Marsh Primary School reception area during school hours this week, and the school will be open on Sunday 14th May from 11am to 2pm – an honesty box is in operation.
FODS say, “The posters are up, the maps are being made and this year we have a record number of entries! Come along and join in, we’d love to see you!”
FODS are also inviting people to enjoy a cream tea following the Scarecrow Trail at Dilton Marsh School on Sunday 14th May from 12 noon to 2pm. FODS is a registered charity and money raised from event goes towards supporting the school
