Local hospice Dorothy House is running its annual Christmas tree collection fundraiser in partnership with the national charity JustHelping.
Residents can now book their Christmas trees for collection in exchange for a charitable donation.
The service has been running since 2017 and, since the very first collection, Dorothy House Hospice Care has collected 32,500 trees and raised over half a million pounds.
All donations received from the collection support the work of Dorothy House Hospice Care, enabling the charity to continue helping people and their families when it matters most.
The team will be collecting trees from Friday 9th January until Sunday 11th January. Registration is now open and will close at midnight on Monday 5th January 2026.
