The introduction of new double yellow lines has been proposed for roads across Westbury, Heywood, Dilton Marsh and Bratton.
The plan by Wiltshire Council include restrictions on sections of key routes and residential streets including Bratton Road, Station Road, Frogmore Road, Jubilee Close, Primmers Place, Field Close, Sarum Gardens, The Butts, The Tynings, Westbury Leigh, Court Lane, Lower Road, Southay, Stradbrook and The Butts.
A separate proposal would introduce a ‘no stopping except buses’ restriction at the bus stop layby on the B3098 Westbury Road/Melbourne Street.
Residents have until 1st June to submit feedback on the proposals.
Full details can be found in the Traffic Regulation Order notice on page 23. They are also available at Westbury Library and online at https://wiltshire.traffweb.app/
