THERE are a number of options for Westbury residents in urgent need of emergency food this Christmas.
Westbury Town Council report, “Food parcels can be arranged with the Warminster food bank on 01985 214463 between 9am-11am Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
“Westbury residents needing urgent help with emergency food, energy or social support will be able to call the Wiltshire Wellbeing Hub over the Christmas period on 0300 003 4576 or email on wellbeinghub@ wiltshire.gov.uk.
“The hub will be open until Christmas Eve, with an emergency team on call until December 28th, when normal service will be resumed.
“Residents in urgent need of a food box or toiletries can also call a service from Westbury Town Council on 01373 822232 or 480912. The emergency service will be running every weekday from 11am – 12 noon through the Christmas period – December 21st – January 1st 2021.
“Since the March lockdown, more than 1,000 food boxes have been provided by the community, for the community, packed and delivered by a dedicated team of volunteers at the Open Westbury Food Project. The project is supported by Westbury Town Council and Crosspoint.
