A GROUP of students from Fairfield Farm College helped plan and run a successful colour fun run event at the Lavington School – and over 500 people attended!
The colour fun run saw students run a range of different distances as they tried to manoeuvre their way through a shower of colourful rainbow powders. Everyone was encouraged to wear a white t-shirt so by the end of the fun run, they should see how many different colours they had caught.
Organisers say that the colour fun run was developed with the underlying principle that all young people deserve opportunities to challenge themselves physically and emotionally in a fun and safe environment.
Rachel Bown from Fairfield Farm College said, “A massive well done to all the sports leader students that got involved with organising the event, it was a massive success!”
