A scarecrow trail will return to Dilton Marsh next month to raise money for the village primary school.
The event will take place from Saturday 9th to Sunday 10th May with a fairy tales theme.
Refreshments such as cream teas, light lunches, cakes and hot and cold drinks will be served in Dilton Memorial Hall from 11am until 4pm on the Saturday and between 1pm and 4pm on the Sunday.
“All money raised will go to Friends of Dilton Marsh School (FODS). This improves the experience of children in various ways,” said a FODS spokesperson.
Maps cost £3 and are available to purchase with cash from The Weavers Pub, Golden Wok and Chips and the Dilton Marsh Social Club on Petticoat Lane. On the weekend of the trail, they can also be bought from 3 Clay Close and the memorial hall. Pupils can also purchase maps from Dilton Marsh Primary School.
