ON Sunday 8th August Dr Andrew Murrison MP, the Rev. C.O. Patterson and town mayor cllr Sheila Kimmins were invited by the Rev. Richmond Dogbe to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Lord’s Pentecostal Church Int (Westbury), following a week of anniversary activities.
A church spokesperson said, “This joyous celebration was accompanied by songs from the choir, a pageant by the young people about ‘the beggar knocking at the door’, and prayers from the children.
“The congregation is active within the community, running a soup kitchen in Trowbridge for the homeless and offering help and support to those in need.
“We send the Rev. Dogbe and all members of the church our very best wishes for the forthcoming years.”
The church meets every Sunday at the Leigh Park Community Centre.
