Flowers and fish! – Ideas for old phone box come in

IDEAS have been flooding in for what to do with the old telephone box in Westbury Market Place.

Telephone boxes across the country are being converted for a range of different uses including a wine cooler and a shower cubicle. Now, local people have joined in with the fun and given their ideas on the White Horse News Facebook page.

The challenge to come up with ideas has inspired people’s imaginations. Ideas included a Doctor Who Tardis, a mobile phone charging point, flower display and a fish tank.

Options are limited as the telephone box is listed and the town council is restricted on what they can do, but they say they are pleased with the public’s enthusiasm and thank everyone for their ideas.
