A former member of Electric Light Orchestra Part II (ELO2) will perform at Jubilee Hall in Bratton next month.
Phil Bates was a member of the band for nearly a decade in the early nineties, playing concerts all over the world in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Sydney Opera House.
After departing ELO2, he forged a solo career and released five albums.
A spokesperson for the hall said, “Bratton Jubilee Hall is very excited to be showcasing the talented guitarist, Phil Bates, star of ELO2, at an ‘up close and personal’ concert on Friday 2nd October.”
His set consists of his own original material, classic blues covers, Beatles songs, and Jeff Lynne tracks.
Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are £20 and available from https://www.goodhub.com/go/philbates.
