THE Four Villages Link, the charity which offers transport and good neighbour services to local people in need in Bratton, Edington, Coulston and Erlestoke, held their annual meeting in July.
A spokesperson on behalf of the charity said, “We currently have 27 members of whom 19 are drivers and our financial position is sound. A presentation was made to Margarete Lara, who has resigned as a co-coordinator after 9 years of splendid service. She will be replaced by Jacky Pike, maintaining our team of four.
“We have recently received a generous donation from the Edington Village Fair raffle of £80 – thank you very much Edington for your support.
“If you would like to join our team of volunteers, as a driver, or to help someone at home, or assist Link in any way, we would like to hear from you.
“Do you need assistance? We provide transport to essential appointments such as visits to the dentist, hospital, shopping – just ring 07852 256939.”
