FOUR Villages Link are a volunteer organisation providing assistance to residents who have difficulty getting out and about, or are in need of help with tasks at home.
On behalf of the group, Catherine Elliott said, “In September, our clients were mainly from Bratton and Edington, with none from Coulston and a couple from Erlestoke and about 340 miles were covered.
“The majority of trips were to RUH, Bath and White Horse Health Centre, but our volunteers also transported clients to the station, dental surgeries and a hairdresser. Another client received help with their computer. Volunteers are ready and willing to do jobs around the house and garden, or just to chat over a cup of tea. With Christmas on the horizon, clients may wish to go on a shopping trip.
