ALL Saints’ Church have a programme of three workshops this summer supported by the Wiltshire Council Community Area Board.
Churchwarden and treasurer Beth Thomas explains, “These workshops are aimed at those over 55 and are a great way to reconnect with people after all the isolation during the past 18 months and learn a new skill.
“Each session will explore different parts of the beautiful church building and include a refreshment break for tea, cake and conversation.
“The first session is a ceramics workshop on 21st July from 1pm – 4pm led by Jo Taylor. Jo is a freelance artist educator with a huge amount of experience including holding workshops at the Holburne Museum, Bath. She loves to explore the relationship between art and architecture so this workshop should be really interesting.
“There will be a chance to make a pinch pot or a tile inspired by what you discover. The session is free but must be booked via Eventbrite on the White Horse Team website www.whtministry.org.uk
“On 3rd August Marie Hillcoat will be holding an art workshop and on 24th August Matthew Tett will be leading a creative writing session.
“Places are limited so booking is essential. For more information see the White Horse Team website or email wcw@whtministry.org.uk or phone Beth on 07790 870 247.”
