A FREE weight management service, ShapeUp4Life, commissioned by Wiltshire Council, is running in Westbury.
ShapeUp4Life is a free 12-week weight management programme commencing Tuesday 12th March, that supports people to lose weight and keep it off long term. Each one-hour weekly session consists of a nutrition and lifestyle workshop covering topics such as snacking, portion sizes, fats, sugar and being physically active.
Who is it for? People living in Wiltshire that want to lose weight, aged over 14 with a BMI ≥ 30 kg.m² or ≥ 28 kg.m² with co-morbidities (those between 14 – 16 will be required to attend with a parent or guardian). It is also appropriate for people with some health conditions – if you do have a medical condition please contact ShapeUp4Life as they may require some information from your GP.
