WESTBURY man Jordan Daykin, who was BBC’s Dragons’ Den’s youngest entrepreneur, has been included in City AM’s 100 Most Powerful Entrepreneurs List, making an entry at number 68.
“Being included in the top 100 list with my peers and some of the country’s most successful business people is incredibly important to me,” said Jordan, who is CEO of GripIt Fixings. “I consider this to be recognition and to a degree validation of all of my hard work. The last two years have been hard work, but have also included some of my proudest moments.”
The list of 100 Most Powerful Entrepreneurs contains people such as Richard Branson and Victoria Beckham to name a few. Jordan added, “It is such an honour to be included on a list with so many people who have over the years inspired me in many ways, to start my own business.”
Also included on the list of most powerful names is Deborah Meaden, Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis who Jordan pitched to on Dragons’ Den 18 months ago, at which point Jordan would never have dreamt he would be included on a list with them.
Now Jordan is on the list he has set his sights on climbing to the top 20.
