Children across Westbury are being asked to get creative and design the Mayor’s Christmas card for the town.
The competition is open to children aged 3 to 11 years, either living in or attending school within the BA13 area.
Mayor Jane Russ said, “It is always so enjoyable to see the wonderful entries we receive every year for the Mayor’s Christmas card competition, and I feel sure that this year will be no exception.
“Remember not to use any glitter or shiny paper, as it won’t show up properly when the card is printed.”
The overall lucky winner will see their design as the Westbury Town Council Christmas card and will get to press the magic button, turning on the lights at the Christmas in Westbury event on Saturday 7th December.
The deadline for entries is Monday 18th November. For more information and to download an entry form, visit www.westburytowncouncil.gov.uk/dept/christmas-lights.
