As Christmas approaches, The Hollies Inn in Westbury Leigh is turning up the cheer with a stellar lineup of live music to brighten your December evenings.

Known for its warm atmosphere and mouthwatering pub fare, this independent family-run pub is the perfect spot to unwind with friends and family while enjoying some of the best local entertainment around.

“We work hard to create a warm welcome for the community, and this December, we’ve got something for everyone,” said landlord Charlie Dale-Staples. “Whether you’re a fan of rock classics, acoustic tunes, or lively performances, we can’t wait to see you here enjoying the festive season!”

The line-up for December is as follows:

Saturday 14th December:

The Last Broadcast

“Kick off the holiday season with a burst of nostalgia!” said Charlie. “The Last Broadcast returns to The Hollies Inn to deliver a killer set of 90s and 00s rock classics. From the anthems of Oasis and Foo Fighters to the unforgettable tunes of Radiohead, this promises to be an energetic and memorable night for fans of live music. Get ready to sing your heart out and relive the golden age of alternative rock!”

Saturday 21st December:

Be Like Will

The festive fun continues with Trowbridge’s very own Be Like Will. This talented acoustic trio, fronted by a powerful female vocalist, blends covers and original tracks for a diverse setlist. “Expect hits from artists like Muse, Blur, The Cranberries, KT Tunstall, and many more,” said Charlie. “Their unique sound and lively performance will have you tapping your feet and joining in the holiday spirit.”

Saturday 28th December:

Cracking Pair

Live music starting at 9pm.

New Year’s Eve:

Spencer Flay

“Ring in the New Year with a local favourite!” added Charlie. “Spencer Flay, a self-taught musician and pop singer-songwriter, is known for his creative use of guitar, ukulele, and even a salt shaker to craft his music. Starting at 9pm, Spencer’s captivating set will make your final night of 2024 truly unforgettable. Don’t miss this crowd-pleaser as you toast to the New Year!”

More than music at The Hollies

Built in 1648, The Hollies Inn also offers great food and drink with a mouthwatering menu of traditional pub meals served in both bustling bar areas and a relaxed restaurant setting. They also stock a wide range of draught and bottled lagers, ciders and cask marque real ales, together with a large range of non-alcoholic soft drinks and freshly made hot drinks.
