Westbury’s most recent pop-up Sunday brunch, hosted by Westbury Town Council, had a health and well-being focus.
Westbury Town Council collaborated with Wiltshire Council, Westbury Area Board and the charity Dogs for Health on Sunday 25th June for the health and wellbeing pop-up brunch that included a yoga workshop, a performance by the Rock Choir and a special dog show.
The categories in the dog show were: Most Handsome and Beautiful Lady, Golden Oldie, Best Paw, Junior Handler, Cutest Puppy, and Dog the Judges Want To Take Home.
The markets and events coordinator for the town council, Nicki Demaine, who helped organise the event, said, “We had lots of informative stalls showcasing local charities and the Rock Choir had us all tapping our toes. We winded down the event with a yoga workshop.
“The dog show was unfortunately shortened due to the high temperatures, as we did not want the dogs out and about in the hot sun, so we were all done and dusted before the midday sun hit! This, coupled with all the usual brunch favourites, made for a lovely hot sunny lazy Sunday, with plenty of food, drinks and activities to keep everybody happy!
“The dog show was judged by the Dogs for Health team, along with Stacie Allensby.”
