BUSINESSES in Westbury joined together to run a ‘Great Westbury Egg Hunt’ this Easter which ran on Facebook and saw one lucky winner win prizes from six local businesses.
Lucy Parker, business development manager at Keeva Travel, a family-run travel company said, “We ran a competition on Facebook over the Bank Holiday weekend. It was a collaboration between us, Keeva Travel, Fore Hair, Not Just Brides, Dollies and Bears Sweet Shop, Aimi’s Cafe and Beauty at Home, with each of us contributing a prize including chocolate hampers, a cut and blow dry voucher, vouchers to spend at Aimi’s cafe and Beauty at Home and £100 to spend on a holiday with us.
“Participants had to follow a virtual Easter egg trail across our Facebook pages, and only once they’d completed this would they be entered into the prize draw.
“The competition was a great success for all six businesses and greatly increased our online following as a result of us working together.
“Our lucky winner was Danielle Walkinshaw from Westbury Leigh. She was delighted to have won!”
