GOODING Accounts have helped raised over £40,000 in 2018 for local charities, with a pledge to raise another £10,000 this year for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Included in their final total of over £40,000, Gooding Accounts have been a part of charity fundraisers throughout 2018.
They were featured as major sponsors and supporters of the Mrs Down’s Boys Charity Golf Day in support of Dorothy House and BCUSG on Saturday 18th May helping to raise £8,000.
They provided all the balls for the golfers to use on the day and spent time at Cumberwell with the support crew and organisers, Pat Traves and Vince Pidgeley.
Sam Gooding also took part in a charity run from Land’s End to John O’Groats within 7 days, in support of Wiltshire Mind (mental health charity) and helped raise over £11,000.
Also, in the spirit of Christmas the company decided to help out individuals, couples, groups, clubs in the local community who deserved a little something to brighten up their Christmas in 2018.
They helped The Friends of Chapmanslade Primary School by donating some raffle prizes for their school fayre which took place on Sunday 9th December.
They also put out a plea on social media for people to nominate who they feel deserves something special.
The company says, “Next year will be no different as we have promised to raise over £10,000 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance, another fantastic local service which helps so many.”

“They have helped hundreds of thousands of local people through the most difficult of times. This has taken our involvement in charity work for the calendar year of 2018 to over £40,000 raised for local charities.
“We are passionate about supporting the people we live and work amongst. We may not be able to change or solve the problems, but having an impact on people allows us to give something back.”
