WILTSHIRE Council has issued a temporary introduction of 30mph speed limits on the Trowbridge Road section of the A350 to enable construction work.
A statement from Wiltshire Council states, “Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Order to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following length of road: A350 Trowbridge Road (Part), Westbury and Heywood; from its junction with Bitham Park to its junction with Coach Road.
“This is to enable: DR Groundworks Limited to undertake construction work for a new roundabout as part of residential development works. The restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
“This Order will come into operation on 8 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the restriction will remain in force until 28 February 2018. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
