Westbury Town Council is inviting residents to join a community litter pick on Saturday 31st August, from 9:45am to 12:15pm.
Volunteers will meet at The Mead Lakes before spreading out to clean up the surrounding areas.
“Come lend a hand and make Westbury a cleaner, safer and tidier place for all to enjoy,” say the council.
The council will provide rubbish bags, litter pickers, and hi-vis waistcoats. Participants are encouraged to bring gloves, any additional equipment they have, and plenty of enthusiasm.
Volunteers are also advised to wear appropriate footwear and clothing. All ages are welcome.
