THERE is lots going on at Westbury Library this summer to keep the children entertained. Also, from the 8th-13th June, they are celebrating National Bookstart Week with a few special events.
Bookstart is a national charity which supports and promotes reading with children from as early an age as possible.
To celebrate, there will be a lucky book competition. Simply borrow a book from the jungle-themed display at any time during the week and you could be in with a chance to win a great prize.
They are also holding a colouring competition. Go along any time during the week and colour in one of the jungle adventure pictures for your chance to win a prize. Both competitions are free and open to children aged 5 and under.
Finally, join them for Jungle Adventure Rhyme Time on Friday the 12th June, 11-11.30am. There will be lots of jungle-themed songs, rhymes, stories and silliness. It is a free event for all under 5s along with their parents and careers. No need to book.
