Just So Dance, Westbury, ran their annual Summer School during the school holidays.
Linda Mence says, “Students from the age of two and half years to 18 learnt and rehearsed new dances that showcased their talent. The students met for just one week for a few hours each day and each age group learnt four very creative and inspired dances.
“On Sunday 23rd September the students performed their show at the Civic Centre, Trowbridge. Family and friends filed in to watch the talented dancers. The students entered the stage in a burst of colour as they entertained the audience. They performed to an extremely high standard given that they only had a few hours each day to learn the choreography.
“Dance teachers Katie Mence and Harriet Long choreographed and taught the dances throughout the week. They were helped by student teacher, Maise Long, who worked along side the younger students, but danced in the older section.”
The Just So Dance team said, “We are incredibly proud of our students. They worked hard and achieved a high standard of dance in such a short time, whilst having a fun week at Summer School.
“We would like to thank the families of the dancers for their continued support. The show was a great success and the teachers and students are looking forward to next year’s Summer School.”
