HIPS were swinging and feet were tapping at the Annual Charity Zumba Party last month which raised over £800 for Oxfam’s Nepal Appeal.
It was held at Leigh Park Community Centre and was organised by Deb’s Dance Fitness and Wayne and Dale from Cow Parsley events who raise money every year for the charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Debbie Bailey said, “This year the event raised funds to help the people in Nepal following the devastating earthquakes.”
Debbie was assisted by her team; Maria Gonzalez, Patty Perry, Erick Martinez, Mike and Nicola Leitch and Kirsty Mead and Infinity dance display team.
Over 100 people came along to the Zumba Party. People from Debbie’s classes and those who attend classes run by Maria, Mike, Patty and Erick.
Debbie added, “Thank you to everyone for supporting this event, it was a great night had by all.”
