TWO jazz evenings are heading your way, promising top live music from The Harry Allen Quartet and the Rossano Sportiello Trio.
On Sunday 14th April in the Jubilee Hall, Bratton at 7.30pm, The Harry Allen Quartet featuring Harry Allen, tenor saxophone, Andrea Pozza, piano, Anthony Pinciotti, drums and Simon Woolf, drums will perform.
Organiser, Maggie Atterbury said, “This will be a marvellous opportunity to hear these internationally known stars near your own home town and not miles away. As part of a national tour this will be the final concert and a real treat.”
On Tuesday 28th May at The Laverton, Westbury at 7.30pm the Rossano Sportiello Trio featuring Rossano, piano, Dave Green, bass and Steve Brown, drums will perform.
Maggie added, “This will be Rossano’s sixth visit to the area and his second to The Laverton. Always a favourite be it solo or with rhythm, you can be assured of an evening’s real entertainment.”
Tickets for both concerts are priced at £15, and information can be obtained by calling Maggie Atterbury on 01380 830452.
Profits will be donated to the management of the Jubilee Hall in the first instance and the Victoria Gardens, Westbury, in the second.
