WESTBURY’S hottest new venue, The View, has a range of live music to entertain visitors this summer.
• Brakelight – Friday 22nd July. Brakelight, a rock band that span from the ‘60s to modern day music, will be playing songs that people love, but might not expect to hear.
• ‘80s night – Friday 29th July. Featuring all the very best ‘80s tracks to sing along to.
• Wade Merritt – Friday 5th August. The well-known local musician is back for his monthly performance at The View. Expect a whole host of original, acoustic songs, as well as a few covers chucked in for good measure.
• Spencer Flay– Friday 12th August. Spencer is a Bristol-based pop singer, songwriter and performer who uses a guitar, ukulele and even a salt shaker to make music.
• Max Output – Friday 26th August. The Wiltshire based band plays an upbeat mix of rock and pop hits from across the last few decades. The band say, “We’re here to entertain you and get you dancing your socks off! You can expect well-loved hits with a few unexpected numbers thrown in for good measure.”
• Noughties night – Saturday 27th August. The View are rounding off August events with a throwback noughties night, filled with the very biggest hits from the 2000s.
