Pet health counsellors from Garston Veterinary Group have been recognised at a national awards ceremony for their commitment to preventative health care.
Pet food manufacturer Royal Canin presented staff from Garston Vets, which has a practice in Westbury Market Place, with two awards at their annual Pet Health Counsellor Awards. The awards celebrate the exceptional contributions veterinary nurses make in practice.
Sarah Holmes and Vikki Marshall from Garston Veterinary Group scooped the PHC Practice of the Year award for their collaborative and enthusiastic work ethic.
Sarah was also awarded with the Biggest Business Impact award for her work in promoting the practice and its services.
She said, “We are delighted to have been recognised in not just one but two categories at Royal Canin’s Pet Health Counsellor Awards. Their scheme has given us the confidence and skills to develop specialist clinics which have proved to be hugely beneficial in giving our clients the specific advice and training for their pets’ needs.”
Royal Canin’s veterinary marketing executive, Sarah Collins commented, “It was a real privilege to present Garston Vets with these two special awards.
“Sarah and Vikki go above and beyond as pet health counsellors for their patients and practice – providing exceptional levels of care, supporting the practice’s growth and advancing their professional development to the benefit of the pets they care for.”
