WESTBURY Court Care Home resident, Neil Hurlston, who has a keen interest in motorbikes, had his wish to see some bikes up close come true when a group of bikers recently made a special visit to the care home.
The visit was part of the care home’s ‘Wishing Well’ initiative where they offer enrichment for residents through special activities and experiences.
Activities coordinator at the home, Linda Bush, asked her brother Stephen Forsythe whether he could visit Neil on an evening motorbike ride, and Stephen went one better by bringing some work colleagues and neighbours (and all their motorbikes) along. The care home says that Neil was overjoyed that strangers would go to such lengths.
