LOCAL estate agents Martin & Co have won the prestigious Sales Office of the Year Award at the The Property Franchise Group National Conference & Awards.
The award was presented to brothers Luke and John Hames, who run the estate agency based at Palomino Place on Leigh Park.
“What a brilliant weekend!” said Luke Hames.
“It was a pleasure to listen to the fantastic speakers throughout the day and we were thrilled to win two awards at the evening ceremony, including the prestigious Sales Office of the Year Award out of 200 offices nationwide, including 41 in central London.
“Congratulations to our fantastic team; it’s an incredible achievement from the team in such a small town.
“Along with my brother John, we’d like to thank our customers, old and new. for their continued support.”
The Property Franchise Group is the UK’s largest multi-brand lettings and estate agency franchising group. The keynote speaker at the awards was Simon Weston CBE who was severely injured, sustaining serious burns to 46% of his body, when the RFA Sir Galahad was destroyed in the Bluff Cove Air Attack during the Falklands War, in 1982.
He has become well-known across the United Kingdom and aboard for his struggle to overcome his injuries and for sending out a message of triumph in the face of adversity, and of seizing the moment and succeeding.
