Year 12 science students at Matravers School presented their Gold CREST award to their teachers, parents and their peers on Monday 21st July.
The Gold CREST award is a UCAS recognised project that 16-19 year olds can carry out in association with the British Science Association. Students carried out some independent study aimed at a specific area of the A2 curriculum. Over the last few weeks they have carried out experiments, research, and been in contact with industry experts, all in order for them to prepare for their presentation.
Mr Feltham, head of biology said, “The students have done fantastically well. The quality of their work was fantastic and everyone enjoyed the experience.”
