MORRISONS hosted its third annual summer market on Saturday 19th August, raising a total of £410.86 for CLIC Sargent.
Community champion, for Morrisons, Lisa Litterick said, “I am very proud to let you know that our third annual summer market here at Westbury Morrisons has raised an amazing £348.86 for CLIC Sargent.
“Although the day was quiet, we had a consistent flow of customers who couldn’t resist a go on our tombola. At the end of the day we had been completely cleared of prizes.
“We have raised a further £62 in store with a staff raffle, bringing our total for the weekend to £410.86. All of us are completely blown away with this total and couldn’t be more proud.
“We want to thank everyone who came along, CLIC Sargent is an incredible charity and our customers obviously agree.
“I had fantastic help from Jo Cortes and Jan Johnson who were on the stall all day and some amazing stall holders such as CNK Catering, Westbury Shed, Craftie Caroline, Ali’s Emporium, Belle’s Gifts and some of the gang from Leighton Leisure Centre to name a few.
“This was our most successful market to date and we are all looking forward to our Christmas one at the Paragon Hall, in Westbury Labour Club on Saturday 18th November.”
