LOCAL MP Andrew Murrison has completed the approvals procedure for doctors returning to the NHS to help in the coronavirus crisis.
Andrew, who was recalled in 2003 to serve as a medical officer in Iraq has been completing NHS online learning to refresh skills he might be called on to use.
He said; “I hope our brilliant NHS will be able to continue to cope without the need to draft in people like me but I’m awaiting the call and stand ready if needed.”
He’s also a volunteer for mobilisation as a medical officer in the Reserves.
