THERE’s plenty to look forward to at the Memorial in the new year, with a packed programme of entertainment to suit everyone.

Friday 5th and Saturday 6th February, 7.30pm: That’ll Be The Day – 30th Anniversary Special!

Prepare for a nostalgia party extravaganza as the legendary ‘That’ll Be The Day’ returns with its Brand New 30th Anniversary Special!

The nation’s favourite rock ‘n’ roll variety spectacular features a fantastic line up of knock-out hits from the 50s, 60s & 70s, plus more side-splitting comedy!

Early booking is advised as this ever-popular show attracts a big audience of music lovers ready to party!

Tickets £24.00 – Preshow meals available – to be booked at time of purchase of tickets.

Saturday 20th February, 2.00pm – Pongo’s Party:

Pongo’s Party – featuring the voice of CBeebies’ Justin Fletcher (aka Mr Tumble) as Pongo the Pig!

Today is the day that Pongo the Pig has been waiting for – that’s right, it’s his birthday! He’s hoping for a fantastic party… but the trouble is nobody seems to remember!

Molly-Moo the Cow is baking, Sheena the Sheep is rehearsing with her band and Sally the Scarecrow is in the middle of decorating – whatever can they be up to?

Come and help make Pongo’s Party a day to remember by joining in a show full of fun, songs and laughter – come dressed for the Best Party Clothes competition, take part in the town’s biggest ever game of pass the parcel and join the largest children’s band!

Ticket Price – £10.00 – Concessions £8.50 – Family Ticket £34.00 (2 adults, 2 children)

Friday 26th February, 8.00pm – Russell Kane – Right Man Wrong Age Tour:

Are you 16-years-old, yet feel 21? Are you 40, but tragically faking 25? Or maybe you’re full-on 80 years with the heart of three oxen and the sex drive of a bonobo chimp. Don’t worry: this is normal. No one is ever the ‘right’ age – it’s the beauty and the curse of being a real person.

In this brand new show, Russell Kane unleashes another blisteringly-funny, award-winning stand-up performance about growing up, growing down, and why farts will always be funny.

Multi-award winning comedian, presenter, actor, author and scriptwriter Russell is best known as host of BBC3’s ‘Live At The Electric’, regular appearances on BBC1’s ‘Live At Apollo’, BBC3’s ‘Unzipped’, ITV2’s ‘Celebrity Juice’ and ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! Now!’

‘a seriously good comedian’ ★★★★★The Times

‘…at the top of his game’ The Guardian

Ticket Price – £16.00 – Preshow meals available.
