WESTBURY Town Council has objected to plans to build three new houses in Saxon Close, saying that the area would become too crowded.
The application covers three separate plots for two-storey detached houses, each with three bedrooms. Two plots are on undeveloped land at the end of terraces, while one plot is currently used as a car park.
At their meeting last Monday, the town council objected to the development on the grounds that it would result in an ‘unacceptable’ density of housing. They also said it would potentially create parking problems, and that the planning application had inadequate provision for fencing and residents’ access.
