AWARD winning local business Busy Books is celebrating five years of supporting local businesses by hosting an open day.
The proprietor Natasha Penny said, “Our open day will give people a chance to come along and join in our celebrations with tea, cake or something from the bar if they wish. We have goodie bags and lots of helpful useful information for new and existing customers concerning taxes and changes.”
Busy Books has come a long way in the five years since it opened.
Natasha explains, “I started Busy Books at home five years ago around looking after my little girl who was then a toddler. We have now grown to a four women award winning super team of bookkeepers and accountants supporting some 200 local businesses and customers.
“As a team we have won many awards along the way and I was awarded the prestigious Accountant of the Year 2016.
“We all learn from each other and from our many diverse customers who each have their own needs and stories of success.”
Supporting local businesses is important to the Busy Books team, Natasha said.
“We are very much part of the community; with our offices now being based in Bratton where we are really welcomed. Many of our customers are based in Westbury and on the trading estate too.”
Speaking about the open day Natasha added, “We are holding our anniversary event at the Duke to support them and so that the invite is open to locals also.”
Looking to the future Natasha said, “We are still growing and look to take on another apprentice or trainee each year. This boosts the local economy and makes us feel like we give something back by giving someone a training opportunity within a respected and professional team.
“We have very recently got ourselves a new little pool car, which we go out in to visit our customers offering a real personal service, working from their offices not just ours and of course it advertises our business really well.”
The open day is being held at The Duke in Bratton on Wednesday 17th May from 1.00pm until 3.00pm.
