Regular live music events at Westbury Conservative Club kick off in 2015 with Rattlesnake Highway on Friday 30th January.
They play ‘country rock, rocking country & Americana’ and comprises four seasoned musicians from various backgrounds (blues, rock, folk and country) with a shared love for good ol’ Country Rock.
“You can expect up-beat, up-tempo, good-time music as performed by The Byrds, The Eagles, Poco, Brooks & Dunn, Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris, Tom Petty and many others,” say the band.
“Great foot-tapping, feel-good songs featuring sumptuous vocal harmonies and lush acoustic guitar, topped with soaring Rickenbacker electric 12-string or biting Fender Telecaster, backed up by a driving rhythm section, with the occasional dash of Mandolin or Harmonica for good measure. A great time is guaranteed!”
Other events planned are the Conservative Club include a charity bed push around Westbury that will be starting and finishing at the club, a summer beach party, live music or Karaoke on the last Friday of each month and a murder mystery night.
Details and exact dates as they become available will be revealed on www.westburycons.com.
