WESTBURY Lions Family Fun Dog Show has been given a new date of Sunday 11th September.
The dog show was originally planned for Sunday 17th July, but it was called off due to high temperature forecasts on the day.
“Welfare of our visitors, both canine and human, is always our highest priority and with the temperatures likely to peak over 30C a postponement is the safest option for all,” said the organisers when announcing the postponement.
“We can now confirm that our Family Fun Dog Show has been rescheduled to Sunday 11th September, at the White Horse Country Park, Westbury.
“Hopefully the weather will be a little cooler by then for our canine companions (and some of our Lions!) to enjoy the day safely. Keep an eye on our Facebook page or visit our website for further updates.”
