Parents and children had an afternoon jam-packed with festive fun for all the family, with a selection of artisan gifts from the Christmas market, carols being sung and plenty of cake and biscuits to go around. Corrine Hunter, treasurer for WLCH said, “Father Christmas and his elves were persuaded to interrupt their busy schedule to visit the beautifully decorated grotto created for him, much to the delight of the children of Westbury Leigh! “The hall was packed with stalls from local artisans selling a wide variety of crafts and produce – a perfect Christmas shopping opportunity. Refreshments were available throughout the afternoon, with something for everyone; mulled wine, hot dogs and Caesars Coffee in the hall grounds, whilst in-side there was tea, Christmas cake and Christmas biscuits.
“The Market ended with community carol singing, led by the choir of All Saints Church, Westbury, followed by a ceremonial switching on of the Christmas lights in the hall grounds by Father Christmas.
“The Christmas Market was a resounding success, a testament to the hard work and dedication of the volunteers who run the hall.
